The “rap-i.d. press&break” was Pool-i.d.’s first product and is exclusively manufactured (patented) and distributed by Pool-i.d. As with the Pooltester, the “rap-i.d. press&break” is based on the reaction of measuring water with reagent tablets (Phenol Red and DPD). It is a small one-way pool tester, but avoids all the disadvantages of its larger “brother” For example, it’s not possible for the user to come into contact with the tablets and the likelihood of false results through skin contact is eliminated. Add to this that the measurement chambers are always free from residue from prior measurements (one-way tester). The most decisive advantage, however, is the time aspect. Measurement with the “rap-i.d. press&break” only takes 8 seconds and can be done very easily.
